The studied fragments of low-grade iron ores were found in the dump material at the historical deposit Glück auf near Seč in the northern part of the Vrbno Group. Magnetite occurs as disseminations or thin massive bands in rocks of a volcano-sedimentary complex (amphibole-biotite gneisses with epidote, impure calcite marbles and layered rocks composed mainly of epidote, amphibole, biotite, quartz, plagioclase und calcite). Also present are hydrothermal quartz-feldspar-calcite veins with magnetite
